Welcome Volunteers!
I am Lisa, the Volunteer Coordinator for Asperger Works Inc. I started at AWorks as a founding Board member but decided that my talents lay with working with people directly. It is for this reason that I decided to become the Volunteer Coordinator. As you may have read, Asperger Works is a young not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to helping adults with Asperger’s Syndrome find suitable employment.
Currently, we have one employee and a few volunteers. So, most of the work of the organization falls on the Board of Directors (that includes members of my family) and some on the Advisory Board. We are looking for volunteers to help us with the many activities we are planning in which we could definitely use your help.
If you are a person who would like to help deserving people get ahead, we need you.
If you are a person who has ideas about activities that could help us raise funds, we need you.
If you are a student who needs community service credits towards graduation and is interested in a career in social service, we need you.
We need you if you have only a few hours to spare or if you have unlimited time to dedicate to our organization.
Interested? Contact me at volunteer.coordinator@aspergerworks.org and become a member of our team. You won’t regret your decision!
